Understanding the Onboarding Quiz
Learn how our 6-question quiz recommends the perfect plan and personalizes your LegacyLoop experience.
When you first create your LegacyLoop account, we ask you six quick questions. This quiz is not a test — there are no wrong answers. It simply helps us understand your situation so we can recommend the right plan and set up your experience. Here is what each question covers and why it matters.
Question 1 asks about your selling situation. Are you handling an estate? Downsizing? Just cleaning out? This helps us know whether to suggest project-based tools or single-item features.
Question 2 asks roughly how many items you plan to sell. If you have just a handful of things, our Starter plan works great. If you have dozens or hundreds, we will recommend Plus or Pro for the higher item limits and bulk tools.
Question 3 asks about your comfort level with technology. Be honest here! If you prefer simple step-by-step guidance, we will make sure the interface highlights our most user-friendly features. If you are tech-savvy, we will point you toward power tools like MegaBot and the Bot Hub.
Question 4 asks whether you want to ship items or sell locally. This shapes your default sale method and whether we emphasize shipping tools or local pickup features.
Question 5 asks if any of your items might be antiques or collectibles. If so, we will make sure the Antique Alert system and expert appraisal options are front and center.
Question 6 asks about your timeline. Selling this weekend? We will prioritize quick-list tools. Have a few months? We will suggest taking time to get the best prices with MegaBot analysis.
After you finish, you will land on the Results page at /onboarding/results. This page shows your personalized plan recommendation with pricing, a summary of which features matter most for your situation, and a button to get started right away.
You can retake the quiz anytime by visiting /onboarding/quiz. Your recommendation may change as your needs evolve.
Tip: The quiz takes about 60 seconds. It is the fastest way to make sure you are on the right plan and not paying for features you do not need.
