Understanding Item Statuses

What each status means — from Draft to Completed — and how items flow through the selling process.

Last updated: 2026-03-30

Every item on LegacyLoop has a status that tells you and your buyers where it is in the selling process. Here is what each status means and when to use it.

Draft: This is where every item starts when you first create it. Draft items are only visible to you. Use this status while you are still adding photos and details before running the AI analysis.

Analyzed: After you click "Analyze with AI" and the analysis completes, the item automatically moves to Analyzed. This means the AI has identified the item, estimated its value, and checked for antique markers. The item is still only visible to you.

Ready: Set this status when you have reviewed the AI analysis and you are satisfied with the pricing but are not quite ready to list it publicly. Think of it as your "ready to go" staging area.

Listed: This is the big one. When you set an item to Listed, it becomes visible on your public storefront and can be found by buyers. Make sure you have set a listing price before changing to this status. Listed items appear on your /store page.

Interested: Use this when a buyer has expressed interest — sent a message, made an offer, or asked questions. It helps you track which items have active buyer conversations so you can prioritize follow-ups.

Sold: Mark an item as Sold when a buyer has committed to purchasing it and payment is confirmed. This triggers the green congratulations banner and makes the "Ship Now" button available.

Shipped: This status is set automatically when you create a shipping label. It means the item is on its way to the buyer. The tracking timeline becomes active.

Completed: The final status. This is set automatically when the carrier confirms delivery (or you can set it manually for local pickup sales). Completed items move to your sales history and your payout becomes available.

Status Badges on the Dashboard: Each status has a color-coded badge so you can scan your items quickly. Gray for Draft, blue for Analyzed, green for Ready, purple for Listed, orange for Interested, gold for Sold, and teal for Shipped and Completed.

Tip: Keep your statuses up to date. Accurate statuses help your Buyer Bots and Recon Bots work more effectively, and they let buyers know which items are still available.
