Editing and Managing Your Items

After you create an item on LegacyLoop, you can edit every detail at any time. Here is how to manage your items effectively.

To Edit an Item:

1. Go to your Dashboard and click on the item you want to edit. This takes you to the item detail page.

1. Click the "Edit" button near the top of the page. This opens the edit form with all your current item details pre-filled.

1. You can change the title, description, sale method (Local Pickup, Ship Nationwide, or Both), and zip code. Update anything that needs correcting or add more details to improve your AI analysis.

1. To manage photos, use the photo section at the top. You can add new photos (up to 10 total depending on your plan), delete existing ones, drag to reorder them, or rotate photos that are sideways. The first photo is always the primary listing image.

1. In the shipping section, you can update the package weight, dimensions (length, width, height), mark the item as fragile, and set your shipping preference.

1. Click "Save Changes" when you are done. Your updates take effect immediately.

To Change the Listing Price: You do not need to open the edit form to adjust the price. On the item page, click directly on the listing price and type a new number. Press Enter to save. You can also change it from the Dashboard by clicking the three-dot menu on the item card.

To Change the Status: Use the three-dot menu on the item card in your Dashboard, or the status dropdown on the item page. Statuses flow in order: Draft, Analyzed, Ready, Listed, Interested, Sold, Shipped, Completed. You can move forward or backward as needed.

To Delete an Item: Click the three-dot menu and select "Delete." You will be asked to confirm. Deleting removes the item and all associated data (photos, AI results, leads) permanently.

Tip: After editing, consider re-running the AI analysis if you added significant new information or better photos. The AI may give you a more accurate price with updated details.
