How MegaBot Builds a 4-AI Consensus
The multi-AI engine that sends your item to four AI models simultaneously for the most reliable estimate.
MegaBot is LegacyLoop's most powerful analysis tool. Instead of relying on a single AI model, it sends your item to four different AI engines simultaneously and compares their results. This consensus approach dramatically increases accuracy. Here is how it works.
The Four AI Models: MegaBot queries these four engines in parallel:
- OpenAI (GPT-4): Excellent at general identification, broad knowledge of consumer goods, and strong at reading text and labels in photos.
- Claude (Anthropic): Specializes in craftsmanship analysis, historical context, and understanding the story behind an item. Particularly good with handmade and artisan pieces.
- Gemini (Google): Strong at market trend analysis, current pricing data, and understanding how demand shifts across regions and seasons.
- Grok: Provides an independent cross-check with a focus on unusual or rare items that the other models might not have in their training data.
How Consensus Works: Each model independently analyzes your photos and produces an identification and price estimate. MegaBot then compares all four results:
Strong Agreement: If all four models agree on the identification and their prices are within a tight range (less than 15 percent spread), MegaBot reports high confidence. This is the best outcome — you can be very confident in the estimate.
Moderate Agreement: If three models agree and one disagrees, MegaBot goes with the majority but flags the disagreement. The outlier model's reasoning is shown so you can evaluate it yourself.
Low Agreement: If the models disagree significantly, MegaBot highlights the differences and recommends additional photos or a professional appraisal. This usually happens with very unusual items.
How to Use MegaBot:
- First, run the standard AI analysis (AnalyzeBot). MegaBot works best when it has the initial analysis to build on.
- On the item page, find the MegaBot panel and click "Boost with MegaBot" (costs 5 credits).
- A 9-step animation plays while the four models process your item in parallel. This takes about 15-30 seconds.
- When complete, the panel shows each model's results side by side — their identification, price estimate, and confidence. An agreement bar at the top visualizes how closely the models aligned.
- The consensus price is calculated and displayed prominently. This is the estimate we recommend using for your listing.
Tip: MegaBot is especially valuable for antiques, art, and unusual items where a single AI model might not have enough reference data. The consensus approach catches errors that any single model might make.
